Bladder cancer
BLADDR cases on the road to the Annual Global Forum on GU OncologyCase 2024: Anton (expert opinion by R. Jones)
Anton, 81 years old, was a real sportsman in his younger years. He went ice skating in Tirol, skiing in Ischgl, and mountain biking in Saalbach. His physical condition no longer allows him to do these activities, but he still enjoys to travel around the country to play golf.
Anton was diagnosed with UCa of the bladder with liver metastases. He was platinum ineligible, but his tumour was strongly positive for PD-L1 so he started treatment with pembrolizumab. Now, 18 months later, he has a follow-up visit.
